Trust Award encrypts billing information wherever requested online. Personal information is accessible only by staff designated to handle complaints and/or requests. All Trust Award agents and contractors with access to personal information are also bound to adhere to this policy as part of their contract with Trust Award.
Trust Award collects the following types of personal information: names, postal and e-mail addresses, phone and fax numbers, billing information, and complaint and inquiry information. Trust Award may also collect business information from sole proprietorships that apply for certification or program participation, some of which might constitute personal information, as well as personal information from individuals acting solely in their business capacity.

From time to time Trust Award will conduct consumer and business surveys regarding subjects pertinent to online marketplaces and practices, and also regarding satisfaction with services Trust Award provides. Trust Award will accept complaints submitted against any business regardless of whether or not that business is Trust Award certified. In order to process complaints made against businesses, Trust Award will transfer complaints received to the business complained about. By registering a complaint or sending us a request or inquiry, you authorize us to forward your information to the proper business, and a Trust Award agent, if necessary. Consumer complaints, requests, and/or inquiries may be forwarded via email. Consumers should understand that this method of transmission might not be secure. Personal information may also be requested by the Trust Award Board of Marketplace Affairs for research purposes regarding marketplace practices. Any research conducted and published by Trust Award will in no case result in the reporting or public sharing of any personal information. Trust Award will never, under any circumstances, sell or rent personal information.

Our web site is not set up to track, collect or distribute personal information not entered by its visitors. Our site logs do generate certain kinds of non-identifying site usage data, such as the number of hits and visits to our site.
